Nah, it was well-cooked.

Well, what I consider well-cooked. I don't like it floppy, but I don't like it crispy. I like it chewy.
It seems less fried to death because it's baked rather than fried. Which I highly recommend as a superior way to prepare bacon.

I seem to have neglected to take a picture of the bacon-wrapped figs I made when Michele was here.

Baconcat made it into the NY Times today.

OMG, that looks good.

I wonder if I can make that in a foreman grill? (we temporarily have no stove or oven). We're supposed to have BLT tonight but I have a whole pound of bacon...
